Koi saleeqa hai aarzoo ka, na bandagi meri bandagi hai
Yeh sab tumhara qaram hai aaqa keh baat ab tak bani hui hai
Kissi ka ehsan kyon uthain, kissi ko haalat kyon batain
Tumhein se mangein gey tum hi do gey, tumhare dar se hi loo lagi hai
Ata kiya mujh ko darde-ulfat, kaha thi yeh pur khata ki qismat
Mein iss karam ke kaha tha qabil, huzur ki banda parwari hai
Shoor o fikro nazar ke dairey, had ka in se barh na paain
Na choo sake un balandiyon ko, jaha maqame Muhammadi hai
Tajaliyon ke kafeel tum ho, murad tu ke khalil tum ho
Khuda ki roshan dalil tum ho, yeh sab tumhari hi roshni hai
Bashir kahiye nazir kahiye, unhein siraje munir kahiye
Jo sar ba sar hai kalam-e-rabbi, woh merey aaqa ki zindagi hai
Ammal ki merey asas kiya hai, bajuz nadamat ke paas kiya hai
Rahe salamat tumhari nisbat, mera to ek aasra yehi hai
Hai Qaaba bhi marja-e-khalaiq, bohat numayan hai yeh haqaiq
Magar jo maqsoode-e-aashqi hai, huzur ke dar ki haazri hai
Yehi hai khalid asas rehmat, yehi hai khalid bina-e-azmat
Nabi ka irfan zindagi hai, nabi ka irfan bandagi hai
translation:
What is the way of desire? My worship is also a form of desire.
All of this is your generosity, O master, and it has been so from the beginning.
Why should we accept someone’s favor, why should we tell someone our condition?
We will ask from you and you will give, for we are dependent on your door.
You bestowed upon me the pain of love, destiny had said that it was my lot.
I had said that I was worthy of this kindness, for I am a servant of the Prophet.
The scope of sight and thought cannot exceed beyond limits,
They cannot touch those heights where the station of Muhammad is.
You are the guardian of manifestations, and the purpose of Khalil is in you.
You are the clear evidence of God, all this radiance is yours.
Call him a bearer of good news, or call him a shining lamp,
That which is the words of my Lord, is the life of my master.
My actions are based on your guidance, except for regret, I have nothing else.
My only hope is to be safe in your proximity.
The Kaaba is also the destination of people, and these realities are very prominent.
But the goal of love is the presence of the Prophet’s door.
This is the foundation of Khalid’s mercy, this is the foundation of Khalid’s greatness.
The knowledge of the Prophet is life, the worship of the Prophet is life.
