The tab of the mirror of the city of Bayaban in Arabia,
The branch of the moon in the light of the lamps of Arabia.
Oh, Allah, the spring of the gardens of Arabia,
Is pure from the drought of the autumn of Arabia.
Let the blood of the rose of paradise flow with the breeze,
If only the thorns of the gardens of Arabia would let it go.
The thirst for the rivers of paradise is for every Arab and non-Arab,
The lips of every river of paradise are the thirst of the inhabitants of Arabia.
The arrow of sorrow flies high from the bow of a camel,
If only the free people of Arabia would release it.
Hidden in the balance of justice is a shining star,
One drop of the night’s dew from the gardens of Arabia.
Queen Bilqees brought the gift of intercession from the heavens,
The bird of Sidrah is a servant of the king of Arabia.
The beauty of Yusuf captivates the women of Egypt,
The heads of the men of Arabia bow in reverence to your name.
Here, the fragrance of musk fills every alley,
Yusuf’s land is in every corner of the land of Canaan.
In the assembly of holiness, there is a memory of the beloved’s lips,
In the world of light, there is the eye of the beasts of Arabia.
Gabriel brought many titles from the Lord,
The horse and camel of the angels are the servants of the king of Arabia.
Oh nightingales and lotuses, become devotees,
The stars of the moon and the sun laugh in the lamps of Arabia.
What can the houris say to Moses, but still they say,
That the beauty of eternity is the lover of the pure ones of Arabia.
The grace of poetry is not far away,
That the honour of the non-Arab is the beard of Hassan of Arabia.
