O, Lord! Bestow upon me the love of Owais al-Qarni
Oh, how I wish! I become a traveller to Madinah
With tears in her eyes, Tayba becomes the wedding procession
Oh, how I wish! Death comes to me in Madinah
My head on Your doorstep, my soul departs
When my funeral procession leaves from the house of the destitute
May some dust of Madinah adorn my face
When the angels Munkar and Nakeer come to my grave
At that moment, may the praises of the Prophet be on my lips
I am the servant of my Master, O Hell, you too should listen
How can one burn who is a servant of Madinah?
With the intercession of my Master, I will attain Paradise
Oh, how I wish! I find a place at His feet
By Allah’s mercy, I will attain Paradise

कुछ ख़ाक मदीने की मेरे मुँह पे सजी हो
जिस वक़्त नकीरैन मेरी क़ब्र में आएँ
उस वक़्त मेरे लब पे सजी ना’त-ए-नबी हो
आक़ा का गदा हूँ, ए जहन्नम ! तू भी सुन ले
वो कैसे जले जो कि ग़ुलाम-ए-मदनी हो
आक़ा की शफ़ा’अत से तो जन्नत ही मिलेगी
ए काश! कि क़दमों में जगह उन के मिली हो
अल्लाह की रहमत से तो जन्नत ही मिलेगी
ए काश! महल्ले में जगह उन के मिली हो
अल्लाह करम ऐसा करे तुझ पे जहाँ में

آنكھوں سے برستی ہوئی اشکاون کی جحادی ہو
آئی کاش ! مدینی میں مجھے موت یوں آئے
قادماون میں تیرے سَر ہو میری روح چلی ہو
جب لے کے چلو غریباں کو جنازہ
کچھ خاک مدینی کی میرے منه پہ سجی ہو
جس وقت ناکیرئین میری قبر میں آئین
